Lakeshore and Parklawn residents say ‘hello’ to a new LCBO right at their door steps. Finally opened this week. The new store is one of numerous new LCBOs opening across the city over the next several months.
The Humber Shores neighborhood is one of the fastest growing areas in the city, with over 25,000 people soon to be residing in the small footprint at the foot of the Humber River, the head honchos at the LCBO could not ignore the area for too long. “If you take too long to think about a vacancy when it opens up, it could be gone the next day.” says the official LCBO press release.
“With areas that have a lot of potential it doesn’t make sense to wait or else we’ll be left out of the market and not serving the needs of the community,” says Nicholas D’Urzo of Real Estate Leasing.
As Toronto’s population grows and the condo boom intensifies, LCBO will be building more stores in fast growing areas of the GTA to service the residents.
Future locations include:
Brampton – Store 661 – Bramalea and Mayfield Road
Toronto – Store 675 – 775 King Street West
Toronto – Store 7 – Eglinton Avenue & Mt. Pleasant Road
Toronto – Store 7- 1009 Coxwell Avenue
