They might be a thing from the 50s but believe it or not folks, Drive In theaters still exist and they’re AWESOME!.
Seriously they are a great, unique and affordable date idea. Where else can you watch 2 movies for the price of one from the comfort of your own, car? Kiss your date under the stars and comfort her while laying on the hood of your car while watching Independence Day.
Don’t let the summer pass you by without checking one of these jewels out. It will give you a feeling of how our parents did it.

5 Drive-IN Theater (Oakville, Ontario)
Just a quick trip down QEW.

Stardust Drive-In Theater (Newmarket, Ontario)
Owned by the same people who own 5 Drive-In in Oakville.
Located about 30 minute drive up the 404 from downtown Toronto.893 Mount Albert Rd in Sharon, Ontario.
Prices are the same as 5 Drive-In except 4 features will cost you $14.00 per person.
Oh and pets are welcome to come along too.
Starlite Drive-In Theater (Stoney Creek, Ontario)
Located just off the QEW on the border of Hamilton and Stoney Creek.
59 Green Mountain Rd. E
General Admission price is $11.00 all other prices are the same as previous theaters.
Can View Drive-In (Fonthill, Ontario)
A bit of a drive from Toronto but I love the original 50s feel of this Drive-In.
Located just off the 406 on Highway 20. 1956 Highway 20 to be exact.
General Admission price is $11.00
A full carload Thursday nights is $15.00
Seniors are $6.00
Children under 6 are always FREE.

On a side note, this is the Drive-In that was hit by a twister while Twister was playing… or so the story goes.
The Docks Drive-In (Downtown Toronto)
Conveniently located downtown Toronto at the Docks entertainment complex (Sound academy) this drive-in offers two screens.
It will cost you $15 on Friday or Saturday, kids 12 and under are $5.
Sunday is “Carload Sunday” where $25 will get you in with a car full of people.
