Move over white wine, there is a new refreshment in town, Red Wine Ice Pops.
Every wonder if you could freeze wine, apparently you can. Wine Rack provides a new recipe to make your pops.
You will need the following ingredients;
- 6 oz fresh raspberries
- 1 cup simple syrup
- 1 cup cold water water
- 1 cup fruit forward red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, or similar)
- 1 /2 cup white chocolate
What to do:
Combine fresh raspberries, simple syrup, cold water and red wine in a food processor and blend until smooth.
Pour mixture into ice pop mold and freeze for 6-8 hours or until completely frozen.
To make white chocolate drizzle melt white chocolate in double boiler and pour melted chocolate into piping bag.
Once ice pops have frozen, remove from mold and place on a small baking sheet lined with wax paper.
Drizzle white chocolate on top of ice pops using piping bag.
Place tray back into freezer until white chocolate sets.
Remove from freezer and serve immediately!
