Hello everyone,
DJFM Toronto will be going off the air tonight between the hours of 1am – 3am (Eastern) for scheduled system upgrades.
We don’t expect the down time to last for the full 2 hours scheduled. We chose this late night Sunday night timeslot to do our upgrades because as to affect the least amount of listeners.
These are the things we will be working on tonight:
- Upgrade of the on-air automation system and computers
- Studio network upgrades
- New server installation at our hosting providor
- Test of the standby power backup system
- Test of the backup bandwidth lines into the studio
We regret any difficulties this may cause you. This outage is completaly routine and must be done in order to provide you with a best quality signal possible.
This outage will not effect our website or the podcasts/on-demand feeds so feel free to listen to those while suffering from withdrawl symptoms 🙂
