A warm farewell to Energy 92.7FM San Francisco. It’s official Energy 92.7 has been sold. The new owners have chosen not to continue with the Dance Music format and have flipped the station to a Top 40 format. It is not clear at this time if any of the talent at Energy will be moved over to the new Rev FM. A lot of the staff at Energy have started a new New Media venture called http://clubberscommute.com to keep the beat alive in San Francisco. Of course I would like to wish all of them the best of luck.
It’s always sad to see a great dance music radio station being sold off to be turned into a mainstream jukebox. Yet from the ashes of the old rises something new and exciting. Please show these guys your support and keep dance music alive.
